St. Joseph Alexandria

Welcome to St. Joseph Parish

Greetings from historic Saint Joseph Parish in Alexandria, Virginia. With the help of Saint Catherine Drexel and her family, the land and the church was established and built in 1915 for African American Catholics of Northern Virginia. Although predominately African American, many races and cultures come here to worship every Sunday. We are the closest church in Virginia to Washington, D.C. and minutes from the Ronald Reagan National Airport. We hope to see you for Mass so we can meet you and personally welcome you to our parish.

Sunday Masses only at 10 a.m. (no weekday Masses until further notice)

Live streaming: https://www.facebook.com/StJosephChurchAlexandriaVa/

Open to the Public, however, because of limited seating, you must register the Fridays before Sunday by calling the rectory between 10 a.m. – Noon
