Welcome to St. Joseph Parish
Greetings from historic Saint Joseph Parish in Alexandria, Virginia. With the help of Saint Katharine Drexel and her family, the land and the church was established and built in 1915 for African American Catholics of Northern Virginia. Although predominately African American, many races and cultures come here to worship every Sunday. We are the closest church in Virginia to Washington, D.C. and minutes from the Ronald Reagan National Airport. We hope to see you for Mass so we can meet you and personally welcome you to our parish.
Embracing our Future
Dear members of St. Joseph Parish,
I am very excited to announce the launch of the Embracing the Future: Engaging in this Parish initiative! My hope is to bring all of us back together in a fun and meaningful way. I am confident that these workshops will give us a chance to come together, grow in understanding of our fellow parishioners, and chart an exciting path for the parish while having fun together! Please sign up for a workshop using the link below. I have also included more information on this fun and important effort in a separate link on this page. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Rashad Badr at email@example.com or by phone at (703) 328-0952. You can also always reach out to me as well.
Sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Donald Fest, S.S.J.
